Department of Applied Sciences

The Department of Applied Sciences and Humanities is enduring from the date of its beginning with a mission of imparting teaching and promoting execution of practical aspects of Applied Sciences and Humanities to build a solid foundation as part of the Engineering Eductaion. Further, the vision is set for breach up research areas in the field of Applied Sciences and Humanities, thereby ensuring the scope for imparting Master’s and Doctoral level courses in the relevant subjects belonging to the field of Applied Sciences and Humanities. The department has five main streams, namely: Physics, Chemistry,Mathematics, Environmental Studies and English, We offer various courses to accomplish industry needs. All courses are intended with emphasis to produce graduates with the distinctive, integrative skills and abilities at level deemed knowledgeable for technical employment in local industry; and to train students to attain the proficiency in the methods and practices involved in the areas of chemical analysis, quality control, industrial processes, chemical plant technology, environmental compliance, research & development.

Objective:

Today strong foundation at the first year stage so that the grasp of engineering streams becomes easily accessible. The clarity of concepts in pure sciences goa long way to help them in engineering streams

Laboratories and Workshop:

The department has Engineering Physics, Engineering Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Engineering Graphics, Language Lab and a Workshop for straight of art Manufacturing Practices. All the labs fulfill the norms of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow as well as of AICTE.
