NITRA Technical Campus Celebrates ‘National Startup Day’

Startup India is a flagship initiative of the GoI, for nurturing innovation and startups in the country that will drive sustainable economic growth and generate employment opportunities. Every year January 16 is observed as the National Startup Day. Institute Innovation Council of NITRA Technical Campus (NTC), Ghaziabad organized a program on ‘Fundamentals of Launching a Startup’ for its B. Tech students and faculty members in order to observe this day. Dr. Arindam Basu, DG NITRA set the tone by explaining the concept and need of startup ventures in India. Mr. Sangeet Chopra, CEO, CyberCure Technologies and his team made a presentation. During the presentation, they explained the various aspects of establishing a startup and its business model that must be considered before establishing the start-ups. He also discussed about the various govt. schemes that are available for encouraging a startup venture.
